What is P2L?

P2L Pop-Up! Sessions for MATH1310:

Regular P2L sessions are held every week and allow students to practice and review material from the previous week's lecture. Math Collaborative Learning Center

The Math Collaborative Learning Center (MCLC) operates in the Georges Student Center on the second floor of Clemons Library. The MCLC is staffed with experienced undergraduate students (MCLC Peer Coaches) that offer assistance one-on-one (or in small groups) for Calculus I and Calculus II courses. This service is free and available to all UVA students.  In addition, some faculty also host their office hours at the MCLC and you are welcome to drop in to receive assistance from instructors at the times indicated in the schedule.

MCLC  Drop-In Schedule:

Mondays 4-8pm: Calculus I & II

Tuesdays 4-8pm: Calculus I & II

Wednesdays 4-8pm: Calculus I & II

*Some instructors also hold office hours in the MCLC. Check with your instructor or reference your course syllabus to see if any office hours are held in the MCLC.

Peer Academic Coaching (PAC):

One-on-one academic support, by appointment. Appointments can be made up to 24 hours in advance. Appointments are held on the the 2nd floor of Clemons Library. 

To Make an Appointment:

  1. Log into Accudemia using your UVA Netbadge credentials. 
  2. Click the Schedule Appointment button.
  3. Select MATH Tutoring Center
  4. In the next search box find the Course you would like help with (i.e. MATH1310).
  5. Now a screen with available Tutors and time-slots will be displayed. Select a time-slot that you would like for the appointment.
  6. To finalize these options please add a note for what you would like to cover in the appointment  and click Confirm.
  7. Appointments are held in the 2nd Floor of Clemons Library, unless otherwise communicated to by the coach.
